| I think some of the past reviewers were confused when they purchased this item and didn't notice that it says "trimmer" in the name. This trimmer will not get you shaved smooth, but will trim your hair down relatively short. It allows you to chose what length you want your bikini area hair to be. It works great! I would recommend this product for any male or female who wants to trim their pubic areas. It is easy to use and painfree. If you are looking for a product that will remove all of the hair I highly suggest the Braun 2370 Silk-epil EverSoft Body System. It has two different interchangeable heads and works as a shaver and as a epil system. |

| This trimmer is sure to keep your lower pubic area neat and tidy! You can adjust the length, so you have control of how much you trim and how much you keep. It doesn't get you completely bald down there, but since I had read the reviews before purchasing this product I wasn't expecting it to. -For that I would suggest some Skintimate shaving cream and a Mach 3 razor. Oh, and some Bikini Zone as well. I personally prefer to just have mine neat and in order instead of completely shaved and so far this trimmer has kept me from having to deal with razor bumps. Another plus is that it comes with a form showing you how you can order more parts if you need to. The top is adjustable and can come off for shaping up the edges and then it resembles regular hair clippers. (I didn't know about that until I had received it.) Anyway, if you lose that top part or drop it and accidentally step on it or something, you're gonna wanna replace just that part instead of the whole trimmer. It's a little less stressful for me if I know -before I use the product- that if I screw something up, I can just order that particular part. My wife and I were looking for a workable solution for the hair down under. While her hair is not thick, it grows long very quickly. She has tried waxing - too painful - and shaving would cause a lot of bumps and irritation, even with the Shick Intutition.
The trimmer is great. Yes, Amazon should take down the photo of the storage pouch. Yes, it won't get you totally smooth or bald. Get a wax or laser removal if you want a total smooth finish. But it is a well built TRIMMER, which is painless and easy to use. You can adjust the length you want, and you can easily work around the more sensitive and intimate southern locations.
Just take it easy around your bits. It's helpful to use a mirror, assuming you're using it alone. It's more fun if you have your partner help. If you want the smooth look, use this handy device before you break out the razor and shaving cream/lotion. It makes it much easier and cuts down on irritation.
You can get creative with styling your pubic hair into shapes and designs. Hey what ever works for you and/or you an your partner. Speaking of which, it works for men too. |

| I bought this product after comparing similar items and reading reviews and this is a great product. My main concern was that as a woman of color, with naturally thicker and courser hair, that this wouldn't work very well. Two weeks later, I'm happy to say that this trimmer works great. It gets very close, but without any pain, irritation or bumps. |

| I'm a woman who likes to stay, how shall I say it?, reletively "tidy." As much as I love staying shorn and bare, I absolutely hate shaving "down there" with a razor -- and as for a Brazillian wax? NO WAY. That's where this little trimmer comes in. It's absolutely ideal for cropping hair relatively close to the skin, and the narrow blade width allows me to get all those delicate nooks and crannies. No, this trimmer will *not* get you completely smooth or as close as a razor -- but you will also NEVER get an ingrown hair or nasty red razorburn from this little hummer. Side note: works great for men's private areas, too! |

| It's easy to use, has several setting for different lengths, comes with a slipcase, doesn't make a lot of noise, and it's easy to clean. This is a wonderful trimmer for your bikini area. If you are looking to get a smooth shave, this isn't for you. It is simply a trimmer that is great for maintenance. |

This little trimmer is highly recommended for anyone who has ever tried to use scissors down there. It's great for trimming and even does a decent job shaving.
Two years later and it still works as well as it did the first time. I don't even remember changing the batteries (maybe once?). |

| This is one of the greatest things I've learned about from a magazine article. It needs to be mentioned more often as this product is so very effective in tidying up the bikini area! If only I had known about this product sooner as it saves the pain from brazilian waxing although it doesn't completely eliminate hair, the result is pretty darn close! |

| I came across this trimmer when I was looking for a panasonic shaver. I am glad I bought it. This trimmer beats shaving down there with a shaver. It is just the right size to use for the private area. Although it is not a shaver it trims pretty close to the skin. It works perfectly with an epilator for the bikini line area. I use a Braun Epilator (Braun 3370 Silk Epil SoftPerfection Epilator which is being replaced by Braun Braun 5270 Silk-épil X'elle Body System Epilator)afterward to remove the excess hair in the bikini line area which works wonder. I love the fact that this is battery operated, no need to worry about eletric shock..This is overall a good trimmer.. |

| Its important that people understand that this is a trimmer not shaver. If you want baby smooth, get a wax. This is a wonderful trimmer that worked quickly and efficiently. I especially recommend this to anyone with coarse hair. It works exactly as stated. |

I don't normally write reviews for the products I purchase, but I felt compelled to write one for this nifty little product. Honestly I had low expectations when I ordered the product, but with all the great reviews this Panasonic trimmer has received I figured what the heck I'll give a shot. And all I can say is WOW! WHY did I not have this trimmer before now? The Panasonic ES246 AC allows you to adjust the the length of the cut to five different settings which allows you to get as close (or not) as you'd like. You can remove the guard and trim without it, but you have to be careful and go slowly or you'll nick yourself. I trimmed without the guard on and I got a pretty close shave that way. Was it perfectly smooth? No, but it was a cinch to use a quality razor to finish off that part. Also, I should note that as someone who has sensitive skin, I was able to get a pretty darn close shave without any razor burn, rashes, or ingrown hairs.
This unit is small and compact and fits easily in your hand. It even trimmed well on those delicate/harder to reach places. I would highly recommend this product! |

| This trimmer is just what I wanted. I get horrible razor burn with a blade, even the special bikini razons and creams, etc. I have always used this type of trimmer to avoid bumps and burn. You can take the guard off so it trims close, and use the guard to trim hair to the appropriate length. It is easy to use and I don't get the irritation of a blade. Works great for me! |

| Trims sensitive areas quickly without nicking skin. 5 different lenths to choose from. Attractive color and nice weight. Easy to clean and comes with a cleaning brush. Not too noisy. A carrying case would've been a plus. |
